Dr. Williams is a recognized, award-winning leader in the beauty industry and has a keen eye for market trends. She collaborates with consumer brands and brand founders to authentically connect their mission with target audiences. Dr. Williams serves as an advisor and consultant for the Non-Toxic Black Beauty Project. The Campaign for Safe Cosmetics’ Non-Toxic Black Beauty Project is guided by an advisory committee made up of leading NGOs and scientists working to improve Black women’s health by addressing the toxic beauty products marketed to them and upholding beauty justice.
Beauty products marketed to women of color often contain the most toxic ingredients used by the cosmetics industry, including chemicals linked to breast and ovarian cancer, uterine fibroids, reproductive harm, and more (Campaign for Safe Cosmetics, 2025).
Our approach combines deep cultural insight with strategic branding to craft messages that genuinely connect with today’s conscious consumer, challenging the industry and ingredient norms in the clean movement while helping evolve the industry. We are dedicated to educating audiences, advancing diversity in the marketplace, and elevating the standard of beauty at every stage—from product development to social awareness campaigns.

The Black Beauty Collective is a community redefining beauty through the lens of Black identity, empowerment, and holistic wellness. More than a movement, we are a space of celebration, education, and elevation—where Black women come together to embrace their beauty, reclaim their narratives, and radiate from the inside out.
We amplify the richness of Black beauty in all its forms—natural, curated, spiritual, and bold. Through intentional conversations, curated experiences, and conscious care, we create space for authenticity, sisterhood, and self-love.
